Despite the snow on the ground, three primary classes from Kootenay Orchards Elementary including Mrs. Adams' grade 2s enjoyed sunny conditions while learning about the aquatic creatures that live in Joseph Creek as it flows through Kinsmen Park. Patty and Dave from Mainstreams led a variety of activities to help the children identify these tiny creatures called macro-invertebrates, and understand how they can indicate the health of the creek.
