Halifax Explosion, Dec 6th 1917, Gone But Not Forgotten and Remembrance, for all who died and suffer, known and unknown. Over 200 catholic victims are buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery and Holy Cross Cemetery. The worst disaster in Canadian history, killing 2,000 people and injuring 9,000. Halifax Explosion held the record of the largest, man-made explosion until Hiroshima in 1945. Please keep all those departed in your thoughts and prayers.
