Every year on the Saturday preceding Christmas Eve, Muskoka Heritage Place in Huntsville hosts "A Portage Flyer Christmas" with trains shuttling kids of all ages up the line to see Santa and back throughout the evening. 2018's trains run on Saturday December 22.
