You may not be aware however one of the brightest stars in the sky is a red giant that may go Super Nova in our lifetime. If that happens, it may after explosion even be bright enough to see during the daytime for a time being. Betelgeuse is the left upper shoulder when looking at the constellation Orion. That will be some celestial event if we get a chance to witness it and here we see it glowing orange/ red, dramatically different from all the stars around it, with a 60sec exposure.
