Long time friend Joe and I may have been some of the first people to mountain bike Myra Canyon long before any restoration work commenced (about 30 years ago). This year, hearing that the road up to Myra parking lot had been plowed and maintained and having never seen the canyon in the winter, we enthusiastically decided to enjoy the canyon on snowshoes.Being the adventurous type,other than the amazing scenery, we soon bored of snowshoeing on flat ground so we carefully broke trail up to the top of tunnel number #1.
