In these photos the same variety of Hellebore is shown at 2 stages of it's floral development. One shows the plant mainly still in bud, April 20, and the other with many flowers opened fully, April 25. Hellebore has several common names depending on variety, 2 common ones being Christmas Rose and Lenten Rose.
