Fall Rhapsody Gatineau Park Champlain Lookout

1075 views Maureen McRae October 22, 2017 Gatineau Park Champlain Lookout Date shot: October 21, 2017

A friend & I went to this wonderful place on Sat. to see the Fall Colours. It was a beautiful day, a little cloudy, but warm & the foliage colours were in full bloom. Below is some info on Gatineau park & especially our 10th prime minister who left this wonderful place for Canadians to enjoy. The shuttles left downtown Ottawa every 20 min. We waited 1 hr. & our shuttle left @ 12PM. It was an hour drive to Champlain look-out (pic is looking down over the farmland & lake). We took the shuttle from there to camp Fortune (ski hills & zip line resort 10 min. ride) & it was so busy we were afraid we might not have enough time to see the estate so we headed right back. We took the shuttle back to Champlain to get the shuttle back down to the estate. People can hop on & off at many points of interest along the way such as Pink Lake, King Mountain, King Estate, La Chute waterfalls & so on.
