Trumpeter swans, coots, mallards and wigeons were feeding in one of the areas of open water which had appeared on the frozen lake as the temperature rose above zero. Then a bald eagle flew down and landed on the ice nearby. It made for interesting viewing from the lakeshore! Where else but at Elizabeth Lake?
