while sitting on my front deck a butterfly flew right in front of my face and landed in my flowers.When I looked to see what type it may be,to my surprise although the wings looked like that of a butterfly the body was the shape of a Bumble Bee and slightly larger, gold in color with stripes on its body . I then realized it must be a hummingbird by its agility & speed . it was smaller than the Ruby throat-ed hummingbirds I have been used to seeing over the years. I am not sure how rare or what type it may be but would sure like to know if it is a hummingbird a butterfly or a bumble something?
