Tundra Swan cygnet

737 views Photo Images by Calvin Hanson December 6, 2019 South Stormont, ON Date shot: December 6, 2019

Two adult Tundra Swans put the chase on a Tundra Swan cygnet (young one) when it got a little too close. The cygnet has its wings raised for a quick get away as the two adults are nipping at its tail feathers. A characteristic of the Tundra Swan species is a yellow mark just below the eye.
