The Nonquon/Port Perry Lagoons were sunny and warm this morning. The oldest of the cygnets, anxious to fly, keeps stretching its wings. It looks like a push up but it really just a good stretch. Its siblings were ignoring it again. I was closer to the chick than the parents this morning. Mom and Dad never moved from their one legged resting positions the whole time I was there. They spent more time watching the Blue Herons that landed about 60 feet down the shoreline than to me 6 feet away.
