On a hike along The Kate Pace Way heading to the Cranberry Trail I came along 3 different Ruby-crowned Kinglets which were keeping very busy filling up on insects. I couldn't get a shot of the first two as they flew too deep into the Tag Alders but this one wasn't getting away from me without at least one shot even if it was so-so. It was working half-way up a tree so I moved uphill on it and just got this shot of it through branches and leaves. It was nice to watch it move about so quickly except when I was trying to get this shot, lol. I kept this one because I never noticed before just how much their eyes bulge out from their little heads.
