Leap Day February 29, 2024……. A female Northern Cardinal shares space with a White-throated Sparrow on a very bitterly cold morning in Long Sault, Ontario. Quite a change in the temperatures from yesterday when records were being broken for an exceptionally warm day. Today, we are in a deep freeze zone, but warmer temps are in the way.
