Heartly and his mate have been breeding in the area for the past few years. This week they have been going from feeder to the trees in the yard feeding a fledgling.The fledgling would fly to, but not land on, the feeder. Today (just now) I was there to see the fledgling land on the feeder and get fed by DAD. I designed and built the feeder with this kind of photo in mind. The roof is lexan to let the light in. What a great moment to end a great weekend. Hope you all enjoy the moment too.
