A NEW pair of wild Mute Swans arrived in this area today. They are keeping their distance from the Family of 5 Mute Swans containing 2 adults and three 15-week-old cygnets. This new pair were in this area in the springtime congregating around Farran Park at Ingleside, Ontario but they did not nest. So this brings the total Mute Swan count to 7 for this area as of today. It is really nice to see these rare birds returning to this area.
