Well, actually this heron is kelp rolling ... I was out fishing yesterday off Pender Island and this GB Heron flew past our boat and landed on a small clump of kelp... The bird had quite a time balancing with the tide running. Not the sharpest photo, as I was balancing myself in the boat.. but thought it was a fun shot.
