A pair of northern hawk owls have been reported nesting on ile Bonaventure in the gulf of St. Lawrence off the Gaspe Peninsula. Bonaventure Island sees many visitors each year due to its large northern gannet colony. Photo taken earlier this year in the Ottawa area.
