I was driving East Near Rosser MB, on Hwy 221. I spotted on my right side something that caught my eye. There was a couple of posts and a weird furry one. On second glance, I realized it was an owl sitting in a ditch with blackbirds harassing him. I turned my truck around, put on my telephoto lens and slowly drove back. Most raptors spook easily so I wasn't expecting to even get a chance. When I stopped the truck I had a chance to get one shot before he took off. Grass stalk ruined a good shot.
