This morning (November 11th), I counted and photographed forty-eight Swans at Ault Island in Ingleside, Ontario swimming on the St Lawrence River. Of those, thirty-eight were Trumpeter Swans (many were doing their loud “bugle honks”), and ten were Mute Swans. It was an amazing sight to view the large number of Swans visiting that location and spread all over the waterway. This picture shows five of the Mute Swans.
