As I checked the Trumpeter Swans in the Nonquon / Port Perry lagoons this mornng I found Mom and cygnets on the shore as usual. They were fixed on Dad Swan who was flying low and fast over the Lagoon Pools trying to clear them of Geese. I last saw them as he returned and was leading family up the shore on the other side of the pond and onto the road between ponds and the growing reeds on it. Last year I found the swans using that location as a permanent spot. Change in Lifestyle? Stay tuned !!
