This Double-crested Cormorant (VIDEO) had just hopped up on the dock for a break when I pointed the camera at it to take pictures. I'd seen them drying their wings before and normally they'd just sit still, this time though it started shaking its wings hard at first and then gently the whole rest of the time. Maybe the sight of me scared it into the hurry-up quick dry method?!?
