Yesterday while walking Sparkle, our dog, on a trail in south Kitchener, I thought I heard the familiar sounds of robins, and saw several robin-shaped birds flying among the treetops. This morning on a paved trail to Wilson off of Mill Park Drive, Kitchener, we definitely heard robins, and I was able to photograph them. Apparently, male robins arrive first to scout out suitable places to nest. Their mates arrive later. I was told that robins do not have young when overwintering in Florida . . . which makes robins Canadian citizens!
