She was right in front of me for about 10 minutes. She’d dive into the Bow River for fish or crustaceans, come up with nothing and wait, lie on the water looking down and then dive again. Her feathers look like a punk rock chick, hair spiked out. She hadn’t paid any attention to the riverside and when she saw me she did one of the slowest take offs I’ve seen. So very cool!! 6:46 pm
