I was so excited to see this little beauty since for me it was the first time seeing one.(Lifer) He/she was alone and most likely just stopped by for a quick break because this plover is in it's migration and is most likely headed South America. This one you see here is a juvenile and came down are way from Arctic breeding grounds in the summer, but juveniles usually linger until late summer or fall.. I was lucky to have seen one because he/she wasn't around for very long maybe a week or to.
