We often get spectacular sunsets north of 60 because of the low angle of the sun on the horizon. The current forest fire situation in the NWT is adding to the vivid colors we have been seeing in evening sky's lately. This picture was taken looking across the downtown core of the city at 19:58 in the evening. Note: There has been no digital enhancements done to this photograph.
