While out looking for wildlife on some local trails and rural roads I passed by many scenes of untouched snow on trees, ponds, and meadows which made it difficult to choose favourites. This one was taken near the end of the day, a day in which the sun was shining from start to finish. The setting sun allowed for some nice shadows across the frozen pond and its bright sunshine hitting the snow covered evergreens.
