Perhaps the calm before the storm during my first ride of the 2023 season while stopped at Forest Larose, off CR-8 near Bourget, Ontario, my motorcycle is approached by riders taking their horses out for a morning outing. Upon returning home, I learn of a winter storm warning expected to impact eastern Ontario tonight.
