Heath Aster aka Farewell to Summer;)

38824 views Catherine S September 23, 2021 Toronto, Ontario, CA Date shot: September 23, 2021

There are these pretty miniature Asters that pop up along roadsides. They signal an end to summer so provide nectar to pollinators when other flowers have ceased to bloom. Native to North America, the Navajo used Heath Asters to make lotions, teas and to cure snake bites!
