The 750 ft. long freighters can carry various cargoes from Montreal to ports in the Great Lakes region as far as Duluth, Minnesota. The 1000 ft. long freighters can carry cargoes from American Great Lakes ports to Buffalo, New York. Fishing on the river under the bridge can land you perch, small mouth bass, pickerel, walleye, trout, and salmon, depending on the season.
