On an early morning visit to Happy Rolph Pond I saw a muskrat in the water, a mink on the rocks, then a mink chasing the muskrat in the water. They chased each other and fought under water for almost an hour to defend their territory. At the end , the muskrat dove under water and the mink left the pond. I am sure they will meet again. It was quite entertaining.
