The lost Snapping Turtle.. How this snapping turtle turned up today in the middle of Belleville, in our backyard, kilometers from any main water source is a real mystery. It would have to cross at least 5 major roads without any culverts or water of any sort. We aided in its return to a marsh area where the snapping turtle slowly moved off where I know it appreciated the shade and cool water.
