Was taking a trip with some fellow photographers around the Irish Loop on the Southern side of the Avalon peninsula in Newfoundland Canada when we decided to stop into the Salmonier Nature Park which is a place for injured animals to recover so they can be released back into the wild. While there we spotted this Caribou which was brought to the park after being hit and injured by a vehicle. She was at rest when we were there so we were very careful not to disturb her while photographing her. The weather was all across the board that day with heavy fog along the coast but sunny skies inland with temperatures between 23c to27c.
