Walking to the neighbors farm to see their horses is one of my simple pleasures in life; anything that involves animals for that matter. I walk with my two Bullmastiff's, Benjamin 8 1/2, and Britney almost 5, down the long rural roads and side roads of White Sands, admiring the many beautiful colors along the Northumberland Strait. And if we're travelling east, stopping at the farm with the horses is a must. There are about 6 or 7 of them, however one in particular always comes to greet Ben the moment it sees us coming, and stretches his head as far as it possibly can over the electric fence to nuzzle up close to him. Ben was very apprehensive at first, and rightly so as he's never been socialized with horses before. And yet he was curious and trusting enough to engage with the horse; at one point their noses touching completely. I'm still not sure what the horses interest is in Ben, only that it looks like they're becoming friends.
