My favorite little squirrel critter Alvin, arrives for his meal. He's always the first one on the scene. It always amuses me to see him come darting across the lawn seemingly out of nowhere, when I see him, that is. If I blink, I'll surely miss him. I usually know he's near when I hear the adorable little sounds he makes, a mix of a squeaking/hiccuping/bark if he's eating. When he feels his territory is being encroached on though, it's a whole other song. His chucking and throaty grumbling are usually enough to keep the others at bay. Then watch out. It's complete mayhem under that tree!
