What did I do? I had the opportunity to go visit a Northern Hawk Owl which has been around for the last 2 weeks but never did make it. Too busy here. It was hanging around the same location and still there as of yesterday. It has been an enjoyable winter for northern owls including great gray and the rarest of them all, the boreal owl pictured above. This species usually heads back north right about now to mid-March.
