I enjoy observing screech owls late in the day. You see their real personality when they are alert and fully awake. Took this photo from far away with a 200mm lens and heavily cropped at ISO 51,200 with the original Canon 6D (v1). A very fast lens with good image stabilization is needed to handhold a lens in very low light. You can use a tripod but it is harder to move around.
