While visiting India for six weeks last November and December I did several safaris into India's Bandhavgarh National Park. On one of the morning safaris a park ranger on an elephant rode up to our stopped open air safari jeep to speak with the driver and naturalist. Familiar with the ranger and the elephant the naturalist pulled out several packages of sugar cookies from under the seat and began feeding the very appreciative elephant resulting in the following two closeup shots.
