Hiking along the trail with a friend of mine and all of a sudden we see this Blue Heron right along the trail on a branch, so close and for sure we thought it would fly away, but it didn't and we got some great photos. I think it was thawing out as it was a very cold morning. Here it is standing on one leg while keeping the other warm and looking right at me:) Beautiful Wildlife!
