Both County operated and Twp operated ferries down due to heavy ice. The residents are stranded on or off the island. The county gave up for the night trying to get the channel open but diehard residents and ferry operators at the Twp ferry are working well into the night to get our ferry running so residents don't have to risk their lives walking across the ice. Kudos. You guys rock!
