We went down to explore the lake to see if it had any ice yet, as it’s the first time in years it hasn’t frozen over. We found this magical wonderful ice like shards of glass on the 50 metre stretch out from the shoreline. The ice shards were Almost like frozen wave caps that had frozen with the last wind and waves and deep cold that happened the day before.
