This is the wettest I have seen of Petrie Island for end of April. Can't get onto the island as parts of it are still water-logged. The now dry part of the road before the island is very bumpy. I hear there may even be a "sink hole" or two along that stretch of road. It may be a couple more weeks before the road is passable. It'll have to dry first and then needs to be repaired. I went to see if the Great Horned Owls were nesting there again this Spring.
