I took photos of an ominous funnel at 10:39 p.m. Sunday July 23rd in west Edmonton from our deck. It was rotating counterclockwise, looked quite threatening, & became very windy. Thankfully it didn't touch down & dissipated before it reached us. I was happy that it happened at night & it had cooled down as otherwise it could have developed into a tornado.
