Country lane , Whitby ON. 11:20am Dark clouds appeared then within 10mins very strong gusty blew in accodated by thundershowers appximately 60-70km/hr. Trees were doing the limbo & 98%of blue bin materials blew away all over resident’s yard and roadway. Bins were thumbing down the roadway. It lasted about 15mins . And you know the saying “after the storm comes the clam “, well residents came out after it had subsided and started picking up the garbage from the road , lawns and driveway of their own and others. It was so strong I was pushed back holding on to my blue bins.
