Downpour in North Bay. . . .

11854 views Jim Middleton September 27, 2016 North Bay, ON Date shot: September 27, 2016

I had ventured out trying to get some shots of a storm but walked too far up Marshall Ave. trying to 'catch it' and when I turned around to head home a different storm had caught up with me! (VIDEO uploaded) I took shelter under a Church's overhang just in time. As you can see in the photo and video it came down cats and dogs for about 10 minutes. I tried cranking my ISO up to 2000, exposure at 1/400th and used my flash to stop some of the raindrops, a tough job for a point and shoot so not a great shot but okay for my first time, lol. Unfortunately I ran out of the apartment in my 'indoor' shorts and short sleeved shirt only to be out a couple of minutes that turned into 2 1/4 hours, again. Even worse was I had no money with me and the Church that let me stay dry under the eaves had fresh baked apple pies for sale at $10 each and now I can't stop thinking about them, lol....
