The Sun appears to set behind the CN Tower as viewed from Bonnie Brea Point

16401 views James McGillawee November 22, 2021 South Oshawa, Ont. Date shot: November 22, 2021

Twice a year the Sun sets behind the C N Tower as viewed from Oshawa's Bonnie Brae Point Cliff parking lot at the junction of Muskoka, Kluane, and Birchcliffe Ave.s This is about one month either side of the Winter Solstice! Usually the winds off the open waters of Georgian Bay carry clouds and snow squalls that obliterate this sight, unless very cold weather freezes the Bay and shuts down the off lake snow machine!
