Ghana (2019) In the north of the country is Mole National Park. Covering nearly 5,000 sq. km only around 5% is accessible, leaving much of the wildlife vulnerable to poachers. And it doesn't have half the diversity of wildlife you'd expect in an East African park. But it's the best you can expect in West Africa and by comparison to its Eastern counterparts it's cheap. Entrance fee and an early morning few hours spent walking through the bush with an armed tracker costs less than a tenner.
