While the weather is warming up in Victoria, there is still snow in shaded areas such as the Butchart Gardens. What looks like deep soft snow, is actually solid ice. Normally at this time of year, Vancouver Islanders would be harvesting Daffodils to sell in stores across Canada. Not this year, though!
