These Clivia Miniata plants were put in an unused bathtub (we shower) about 14 years ago. They thrive with very little attention or water. By the way, in West Vancouver it snowed lightly for most of the day accumulating to about 3.5 inches. The roads are clear and the temperature at 6:40 PM is about 2C.
