Australia Rain Forest Cape York Peninsula

39439 views Jon Van Loon January 14, 2020 Cape York Peninsula, QLD, Australia Date shot: February 24, 2002

In contrast to the Bushfire prone vast hot and dry areas of Australia, at the top end of the country rain forests such as are shown in my picture can be found. An incredible number of plant species thrive herein. Take care not to fall prey to monster 'salty' crocodiles some bigger than humans, that frequent salt water estuaries and ponds.
