YOUR PHOTOS: Holy hail! Severe thunderstorms rip through southern Alberta
Digital Reporter
Friday, August 8, 2014, 11:03 AM - Thursday afternoon across southern Alberta was a wild one to say the least.
An area of severe thunderstorms developed along the foothills producing a gustnado and tennis ball-sized hail, which damaged several homes and cars.
In some places, so much hail covered the streets making it look much more like a winter scene.
Thank you to all of the Alberta viewers who sent in amazing photos and videos of Thursday's storms.
